Cellblock 9 | Eastern State Penitentiary

Cellblock 9 was an installation in 6 different cells in cellblock 9. Each cell had a projection of a face made with animated drawings. The drawings were projected with a design based on a thaumatrope in which two images on plexiglass rotated by a motor through a lens which projected the images to the floor animating them.
